I’m an Architect

October 25, 2007 · No Comments

Frome Life Without Buildings (a nice and tidy blog might I add). Are we really this pathetic, self indulgent, and cliche?Umm….probably.

Who needs writers and on-air personalities? Nothing is as interesting as listening to yourself talk! If only there was a way the rest of the world could share those nuggets of brilliance….Ah, Ha!! The Internet! Write your daily thoughts on your blog and prepare yourself for the overwhelmingly positive response.

“Wow! I’ve never agreed with anyone as much as you on anything. Are you one of those think-tank people?”

“Your thought process differs from anyone else I’ve ever known. If I may ask, what do you do for a living?”

“I’m an architect”

It could be short and simple, or wordy insightful, but if you had to give one piece of advice for newbie architecture students what would it be?

The folks over at Inhabitate have created a list for Living Sustainable. Find more tips for surviving design school here at Core77, and for tips on general productivity and time management I’ve found this great little blog 43 Folders.

Local production company, Bark Productions will be shooting the spot. I’m not sure if it will be getting regional or national air time, I don’t know even know when they are shooting it, but I’ll be sure to post details as they arise.

Random Horses

twa-horses.jpg

I ran down to work this morning to grab some things from the office and was surprised to find horses littering the streets of the Crossroads. I’m out of the habit of taking the camera around with me anymore, so this picture was taken from the camera phone in front of one of our most recently finished projects, the TWA Garage.
